In today’s complex educational technology landscape, districts face the challenge of efficiently managing and distributing diverse resources—from digital licenses to physical textbooks. This session will demonstrate how our district leveraged AirTable’s relational database capabilities to create a comprehensive course resources system that eliminated silos and streamlined distribution processes. By integrating data from our Student Information System (SIS), library catalog, and Single Sign-On (SSO) rostering platform, we developed a unified resource management solution that improved efficiency, enhanced accountability, and ultimately increased resource utilization.

010. Charged for Success: Solving the Dead Device Dilemma
Dead batteries on student devices have become a growing instructional challenge, disrupting lessons and placing strain on classroom workflows. In this presentation, I will share how Oconto Unified School District has addressed this issue by implementing practical, scalable solutions—highlighted by our deployment of the ClassRecharge system. I will walk through the steps we’ve taken, the reasoning behind our choices, and provide a hands-on demonstration of the charging solution we adopted. Attendees will be able to see the equipment up close, understand how it functions in a real classroom environment, and learn why it has been effective for our district.
We will also discuss the positive impact these changes have made for both students and staff, from increased instructional time to reduced tech-related disruptions and improved device readiness. Following the overview, we will open the conversation to explore how other districts are experiencing and managing the same issue. Participants will have an opportunity to share their challenges, compare approaches, and discuss viable strategies to combat dead batteries in their own classrooms.
